Brennan's Journey

The support Brennan has received is overwhelming and incredibly humbling. There is a growing number of people who are asking us how they can help Brennan through his journey and our main focus and priority continues to be prayer for Brennan, his overall health and for the doctors. But so many people are wanting to help even more. For those that feel led to help Brennan financially, a "donate" button is now available. It is linked directly to a special account for Brennan and his long road ahead. Any amount is greatly appreciated. I wish there were words to express our gratitude for all of the support and prayers B is receiving. Thank you to all and God Bless.

Good Morning!

A little smile is a good thing!
Last night went so much better than I thought it would. I was a little worried that he would be nauseated and throw up again, or that he would pick at the head dressing in his sleep, or that he would lay on his left side, and the list goes on and on... but with a lot of prayer and I'm sure MANY prayers from other's, I decided to relax and LET GO and trust God. B slept from 10pm - 3am. I laid next to him and put my hand near his head so I would know if he turned his body. At 3am I felt his body shift to the left side and so I moved him around. He was so cooperative! He went back to sleep and woke up at 5:30am wanting to sit up. Sooooo.... I got some sleep too!!! It was the most sleep I have had combined in over 4 days. He said he was hungry and that his head hurt. He hadn't had any Tylenol since 9:00pm. He had a cereal bar, water, and some Tylenol and now he is watching a show! I think we are going to "lay low" today. Maybe go for a walk and let him chill in the stroller. Maybe visit a toy store and let him pick out a toy. We'll see.
We take his head dressing off at 11:00 today. I'm not looking forward to that but I know it needs to air out and start healing.
Maybe we will get a family nap today!!!

So glad you all got some rest! We are still praying for quick healing, lots of naps, and some quality family time for you all.
Give Brennan hugs from us.
