Brennan's Journey

The support Brennan has received is overwhelming and incredibly humbling. There is a growing number of people who are asking us how they can help Brennan through his journey and our main focus and priority continues to be prayer for Brennan, his overall health and for the doctors. But so many people are wanting to help even more. For those that feel led to help Brennan financially, a "donate" button is now available. It is linked directly to a special account for Brennan and his long road ahead. Any amount is greatly appreciated. I wish there were words to express our gratitude for all of the support and prayers B is receiving. Thank you to all and God Bless.

Doing Great!

Joel hasn't eaten for 26 hours... his choices this evening: apple juice, orange juice, broth and jello....yummy! He's talking and doing well. He says his leg is okay (thanks to the meds) but with some pressure and he feels some pain in his knee (where they put the rod through). Thanks for the prayers!

Hello Kim,

I've been reading your blog for quite some time. We attended Grace Baptist for many years and you may recognize us? :) We're living in Indiana now, but I enjoy following your blog/family happenings. I am a former police wife, so we have that in common! Then, to see your most recent posts, I see we have even more in common.

My husband worked for Glendale P.D. for about five years. He spent a couple of those years as a motor officer. He did eventually medically retire due to injuries sustained on duty.

I don't say any of this to frighten you, but only to let you know that you're welcome to email me anytime if you need a little support from someone who understands!

Take care and I hope both of your men heal quickly!
