The support Brennan has received is overwhelming and incredibly humbling. There is a growing number of people who are asking us how they can help Brennan through his journey and our main focus and priority continues to be prayer for Brennan, his overall health and for the doctors. B's First Race!

Tonight was such an awesome night! I've been running more and decided to do the College of the Canyons 3 mile race that they hold over the summer. It's on Thursday nights and they also have a kiddie k (1 lap around the track) for the kids. I have been waiting a long time for B to get old enough to do a "race." It was so exciting to watch him run around the track. Joel ran it with him. B wanted to quit 1/2 way through but did the whole thing. When B turned the last corner and saw everyone cheering, his face lit up and he had the biggest smile on his face. It was priceless. It was so wonderful to see my little boy running in his first race. All the kids got an award ribbon for finishing. Of course he didn't come in first and I actually think he may have finished last, but to see the determintation in him and the joy and pride in his face when he finished brought me to tears. It was such a special moment.
I ran my race, much better than I thought. Then Joel decided to run the 3 mile cool down too while pushing the kids over some insane dirt hills...props to him!
I enjoyed this evening so very much. Can't wait for more!
