This week...

We actually stayed home this week, but we will be leaving for Arizona on Wednesday. (I know, we can't sit still). We are taking advantage of Joel's great work hours and the fact that I am now officially a stay at home mom!!! I'm loving being home with Brennan! He is just so much fun. I am amazed everyday how much he is growing into a little boy with his own unique personality. He makes me laugh all the time, and he doesn't even say more than 3 words yet (which, "mommy" is still not one of them... we are still working on that :)
I've discovered Facebook on the internet, thanks to my sister :) It's been fun reconnecting with old friends and chatting with everyone about their daily lives. Now Joel is hooked too.
Well, Brennan is waking up from his nap so my "free time" is over... but, I wouldn't trade it for the world. :)

Trip to Ventura!

I'm just realizing that Brennan has been to the beach a lot this summer. I think we are making up for lost time... last summer he was only 2 months old (and because I am such a "sunscreen freak" there was no way he was going near the sun until he was old enough to wear sunscreen) :)
After some time at the beach, we met our bible study group at a campsite that a few of them were staying at. We hung out and sang songs around the campfire. Brennan only lasts so long when he is tired and ready for bed so we had to leave early. We sure had a fun time though.

Trip to San Diego!

We went to San Diego for a week! We had such

a great time. Joel's parents rented a beach house

for a week and we stayed there Tues. through Sat.

Beth, Joel's sister, was there half the time with her

two kids, Gunnar and Jessica. Gunnar is 7 months

older than Brennan. It is fun to see the 3 interact

more and more every time they are together.

We stayed in a house that faced Mission Bay and

was only about 2 streets away from the beach.
