Brennan's Journey

The support Brennan has received is overwhelming and incredibly humbling. There is a growing number of people who are asking us how they can help Brennan through his journey and our main focus and priority continues to be prayer for Brennan, his overall health and for the doctors. But so many people are wanting to help even more. For those that feel led to help Brennan financially, a "donate" button is now available. It is linked directly to a special account for Brennan and his long road ahead. Any amount is greatly appreciated. I wish there were words to express our gratitude for all of the support and prayers B is receiving. Thank you to all and God Bless.

"Boo-Berry Pa-cakes"

B's FAVORITE thing to eat is blueberries, otherwise known as "boo-berries"
I try to make his favorite meal as often as I can, blueberry pancakes. It's a messy meal, but worth the enjoyment of watching him pick through every inch of the pancakes for blueberries. Also, this is the only time I can really get him to smile for the camera. Blueberries are also the key to keeping him occupied in the stroller when I go on walks or when I need to feed Faith.

Gotta love those magical little berries!

4th Fun!!!

Joel had to work all day on the 4th. Somehow I got the courage to get the kids up at 6:30am to go run the local 5k. Joel has run the last 2 July 4th 5k's with me and he pushed Brennan in the jogger as I ran beside them. This morning, it was up to me to run and push both in the jogger. I have been running here and there to train for it and I actually didn't do that bad. I beat the time I wanted to get, so I was happy. After the 5k, we walked to the parade route which was right around the corner. Thanks Hughes and Martinsen family for letting us hang out with you! Brennan loved the parade. Faith was in a great mood too! It was a fun morning. The only thing missing was my hubby. Thanks babe for working so hard!

Right before the race started

B loved his flag

Faith was so relaxed!

All smiles too!

Nap time... after 3 1/2 hours I decided to check and make sure he was okay...this is what I found... it was a long, great morning...he was pooped :)

At night, we went to a spot near the mall to watch the fireworks.

Joel made it home from work in time to come with us!
My 2 favorite boys!
